Chapter nine

Krisis and Wingslash

Wingslash looked in horror. He thought Draco was doomed forever. Just then a blue apprentice with a rigid body and golden eyes swooped down and grabbed Draco, he swooped down where Wingslash was standing. He placed the body on the grass floor nicely. “What are you doing in River team territory!?” said the blue dragon fiercely. Wingslash and the others paused; Wingslash felt a breeze on his scales. “This is Fire team territory!” Firewing hissed. Wingslash just stood there, his eyes gazed upon the mountains. He saw his mom there and some dragons. “We will go.” Wingslash said finally. “What’s your name then?” asked Midnight. “Um… Krisis.” The blue dragon muttered. “Let’s just go and take Draco to Holly.” Wingslash said. Wingslash took his friends back to camp. Krisis and Wingslash both despised each other.

“I will take care of him as much as I can.” Holly said trying to be cheerful like always. “Ok.” Said Wingslash.  The sun was going down and it was almost time for bed. Wingslash had to carry Draco to camp, also he had tripped on a root and fallen down hard. So Wingslash was exhausted.  Three apprentices blocked the entrance. “Um... Make way please.” Asked Wingslash. “No! You will get our heads chopped off.” Said the second one. Just then, the third one kicked the two dragons. “Come on!” said the third one. She took off her hood, it was Midnight. “You can sleep with me.” Midnight said. Wingslash, then drifted off to sleep.

Chapter eight

Horror dream

Draco woke up; he was in a corner of a dark room. He had chains wrapped around his hands and wings. A male dragon sat before him, he looked like he might try to help. “Hey, help me out of these chains please.” Asked Draco. “Sorry you are in Evil team jail but I would like to help you.” Said the dragon. He had brown spots and green all around him, also he had gold eyes. “Then what is your name?” Draco hissed at him.  The dragon unlocked the chains and set him free. “Who is the fool now!” the dragon said. “What is your name?” Draco repeated. “Deadbranch, the only good Evil team dragon, “said the dragon.

Just then three dragons appeared. “Janlo, Sillia, Adian?” Draco said. “We have no time to waste!” said Janlo.  “Firebreath is getting stuck in a ravine!” said Adian. Draco froze, his eyes widened. “Well what are you waiting for?” said Adian. “I will free the prisoners.” Said Sillia.

Draco peered out the window cell. He saw Avonlea fighting Cackle. He wanted to break the window cell. He raised his fist, and then the whole cell wall shattered in pieces. He hit cackle, which boomed her into a tree. “You fool, I had her right there!” said Avonlea.  Draco turned to the battle scene with no word. He froze when he saw sight of the strongest evil team dragon in the team, Riften. He got his fist ready, and then took the shot. It only moved thirteen mouse feet away. Then as a dragon came out of nowhere something tackled him. He hit it in the face and sent it to the sun, the dragon caught on fire. Riften looked super angry; Draco had just murdered his brother. Adian started to fight Riften. “Go and try to get Firebreath out!” Adian cried as he struggled to pin him down. Draco ran to the ravine. It was far, and then he tripped on a familiar dragon which was dead. “Slether?” said Draco. “Run and help the team leader!” cried Adian again. He flew to the ravine.

Wingslash stood on the ravine reaching for Firebreath. The earth was closing in. The ground rumbled, and the earth shook. Firebreath’s wings were scarred and torn, he could not fly or else the wings will fall off and he will fall to his doom. The ravine sunk deep, deep, deep in the earth.  Firebreath looked at the sky then looked back at Wingslash. Draco arrived just in time to see Firebreath’s doom.

“Draco, I have to do this.” Said Firebreath sadly. “Don’t, please,” said Draco. “I have to. I need to tell you a secret,” Said Firebreath coughing.  Firebreath whispered, “You weren’t my brother I was Adian’s brother, sorry,” whispered Firebreath, and Firebreath let go of Wingslash. “No!” cried Adian.

Author’s note: How did Draco get so strong? How did Slether die? Sad chapter isn’t it?  Dramatic

Good bye!

Chapter seven

Fun in games

Draco looked up in the sky. It was still morning, the sky was still blue. He knew it was 8:01. Today, all Draco wanted to do was sleep all day.  They came to the place they usually play. It had tall grass, no trees, and it was in a clearing. This day they were doing practice battles, Wingslash was the judge because he had the diamond blades. Draco was on team red, with Firewing. He looked at her torn wing, it was not torn anymore. He knew that the Luna medicine should have healed it that night. Midnight and her friend, Avonlea were partners on team red. Draco felt something missing; he knew it was his old mentor, Jewel. She used to be on Fire team, but during a war, her parents died. She thought it was Fire team’s fault and went to evil team. He heard Wingslash’s call. “Firewing vs. Midnight!” Draco looked at Firewing; he knew she didn’t like fighting people. Draco felt the breeze around him, it felt good. Draco closed his eyes, and then he heard “Tie!”  Draco opened his eyes; both Midnight and Firewing were down.

They both limped to the rock so they could rest. “Now Avonlea and Draco!”  Wingslash said. Draco got up to his feet. “I can take her!” thought Draco. His claws unleashed. He started to fly straight at the body. When he nearly got her she clawed him into a tree. Avonlea wasn’t that tough. She slammed him to the ground, and then stomped on the ground. It was a sonic boom! He stopped at a cliff and rolled to the edge. He grabbed onto a vine, it wasn’t strong enough to hold him. The vine broke off, Draco fell to the ground. Dragon blood fell from his shoulder.  Then he hit the ground. “Draco!” they cried.

Author’s note: oh no!!!!!!!!! Also thanks Tucker G for Avonlea! This was kind of a short chapter……
