Chapter Thirteen

Air Hole

“What did you do to the people who I was patrolling with?” asked Draco as he and Fenero walked through an old library in the mountain they were in. “Not that much, I just knocked them out and put them in my prison,” Fenero said calmly. “Hey get us out of here!” cried a faint voice. “Shut up, wait until I finish my conversation with my cousin, Draco!” replied Fenero. “You should go to see your friends,” said Fenero.

Draco got into the hole which led to the prison. Draco liked his cousin’s home, but it was in a mountain, east of Fiery Hills. Draco entered a small chamber.

He saw his friends behind bars. “Draco, your cousin is putting us in a prison!”  Darkfrost cried. Fenero came into the chamber and said “I thought you were put in a jail,” said Fenero. “Why would you think we were putting him in prison without any chains?” Tokoro growled. Fenero tapped a book called Sencas Method, a book about prison. “Let them go, they are my friends,” Draco said to his cousin. Fenero got a key and opened all of the prison cells. “Thank you!” Tokoro replied sarcastically. Draco’s friends walked out, mad.

Fenero was a dark black dragon, so they thought he was from Evil team and tackled him, but Fenero was air master. Air masters are extremely rare. Fenero also studied Witchcraft, but he quit it because it was too hard for him. Fenero taught him and his friends a few useful spells. Then Draco and his friends had to leave. “But, remember to come here on Friday!” Fenero cried back to them while they were going back to camp.

“Your cousin is nice and mean at the same time,” Darkfrost said angrily and pleased at the same time. “He is my only cousin, my other one died,” Draco said sadly. “Your cousin is also very calm and unique,” said Tokoro, looking back at the mountain.

Just then, a big boom shook the muddy ground. Then a lot of dragons screamed. The dragons ran from the camp. They flew fast, but some wind pulled them back. The dragons got sucked into a big hole, an Air Hole.

They were really dangerous.  Draco couldn’t see any blood to know if it was a Cutting Air Hole. Draco said the words to see if it was. Red blood flew on the ground—so he knew it was a Cutting Air Hole. Draco then saw a few groups of dragons from the camp get pulled into it. He had to save them all because after 9 weeks, the hole will close and crush everyone in it.

Just then, Draco heard a cry of someone important to him, Lillia. “Help me, please!” she cried. The strange thing for Draco was he wasn’t getting sucked in. Lillia was holding on a jagged rock, the most stable thing you could grab. Draco ran to Lillia.  He grabbed her and ran to the ocean, the safest place to be during an Air Hole.

Draco saw his friends holding on to another jagged rock. Draco ran to his friends, but then he heard an irritating sound. He dropped to the ground and put his wings on his head. It was too much, so Draco fainted. It was dark, very dark.
